Life Is Too Precious… Cherish Every Moment
March 1, 2026

Opening Reflection
We live each day, but do we ever truly reflect on and appreciate the goodness we experience?
Do we truly recognize how many blessings we have, or do we simply let them pass us by?
Do we mean what we say, or are we only saying the words?
The Cost of Ingratitude
So many thoughts. So many questions.
We can easily get lost in this world — and within ourselves — but overcoming that is up to us.
We are always needing something in life. We constantly feel incomplete, wanting more or wanting less. We complain, hold high expectations, compare our lives and ourselves to others, and fail to appreciate our loved ones.
That’s when we begin overlooking our own lives, and our perspective becomes dull.
That’s when negative thoughts begin to pour in — leading us to ingratitude, leading us away from wisdom, and causing us to take things for granted.
We become desensitized to the positive experiences and environments surrounding us. We are always looking for something greater rather than appreciating what we currently have.
There’s nothing wrong with pursuing what you want in life. However, if you don’t value your current life and appreciate what you have now, you won’t get very far. Being humble, disciplined, patient, and understanding is key.
We can achieve what we want, but any day, at any time, it can all be wiped away.
What values do you uphold?
Gratitude
It’s essential to live in the moment — not constantly focus on the next day, week, month, or year. Take life day by day, because anything can happen in the next second, minute, hour, or beyond.
Gratitude enriches life. Be thankful for what you have — even the smallest things: the sunlight, a kind word, the trees, a cup of water, the sky.
Be grateful to be alive — to breathe, walk, hear, see, laugh, smile, and more.
The Lord’s Guidance
Even in difficult times, allow them to become lessons. Even when it feels impossible, let those moments help you understand, grow, gain clarity, and build strength — which will eventually lead you to wisdom.
“Each One, Teach One” reminds us to uplift others as we journey forward.
As hard as it may be to accept, things happen for a reason. It can feel confusing, frustrating, and painful, but everything holds purpose in our lives.
The best way to understand that is through the guidance and love of God. Allow Him to lead you. We cannot do life alone, and when we try, it rarely works out the way we expect.
God has always been there for me — even when I strayed away. He has remained by my side.
Give everything to God. You do not have to suffer alone. Prayer and faith are powerful.
Living Intentionally
Start appreciating yourself — even in the smallest ways.
For example, making your bed. You didn’t have to, but you did. That shows discipline and strength. You chose to begin your day with structure. That is an accomplishment.
Spending time with a friend or family member shows value, thoughtfulness, and love. You went out of your way to build a stronger connection with those you care about.
Appreciate the love and support you receive from family, friends, partners, and even strangers who show kindness. Value the people in your life.
Appreciate yourself and all that you do. Yes, we make mistakes — but as long as we learn from them, we grow. No one is perfect.
Appreciate the beauty of life. The world will never be exactly the way we want it, but finding peace and understanding in that truth will take us far.
It’s easy to fall into negativity — to become trapped in the cycles we create in our minds, like a cage.
But we can change that.
Embracing Transformation
Life isn’t easy, and it will never be perfect. It’s not a straight path.
To truly enjoy life, we must understand that growth takes time.
Each day, take 5 to 10 seconds to say aloud, “I am grateful for…” and name something in your life — even if it’s just one small thing. Over time, the list will grow, and your perspective will begin to shift.
As someone on this journey, I’ve realized as I’ve grown older just how precious life is — too precious to take for granted.
I am living intentionally, striving to become a better version of myself, making meaningful choices, and appreciating the people in my life. Life is short, but it is defined by the actions we take to savor it.
Take it one day at a time — because often, we don’t realize what we have until it’s gone.
Quick Tips
• Take 5 to 10 seconds each morning or evening (I recommend setting a timer).
• Say or write what you are grateful for — even if it’s the smallest thing.
• Repeat daily and observe how it begins to impact your everyday life.
Closing Question
Are you truly appreciating the life you are living?
Starting today, ask yourself, “What am I grateful for?” and notice how it subtly shifts your mind and perspective.
You’ve got this. I’m rooting for you.
Blessing,
